Job description

HSEQ is dedicated to the health and safety of Cory. This department prioritises the safety of every employee and person visiting our sites. Periodic audits are conducted both internally and externally to ensure our employees, equipment, and sites are safe and compliant.

This key role focuses on managing and supporting the systems used within HSEQ.

Typical duties include:

  • Main contact and system administrator for the Incident Management System (Intelex) in the production, development and test environments
  • Main contact for Cory’s AI CCTV alert monitoring and system administrator for the AI CCTV dashboard
  • Responsibility for ISO 27001 audits, to arrange/conduct internal and external internal security audits, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sites are to the required standard for external audits
  • Keeping in touch with all Cory sites via site visits to support HSEQ using Intelex/AI CCTV and information security audit findings
  • Provide support to leadership to assist with investigations and other queries
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure ongoing support and licensing of systems

Job requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and behaviours:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - this role involves frequent communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills – particularly Microsoft Office suite, Adobe and a good working knowledge of databases, basic knowledge of networks and the ability to learn bespoke systems quickly
  • Good data handling, analysis and interpretation skills
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage several projects with competing priorities
  • Ability to be constructive whilst maintaining a tactful approach
  • Ability to be an effective team player, and able to operate as a constructive team member
  • Ability to influence management
